PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the floor height of a car body to enlarge cabin space in a suspension device for an in-wheel drive unit for suspending the in-wheel drive unit provided in an inner range of a road wheel for a vehicle. SOLUTION: To a diametric direction outer circumferential part 3out of the in-wheel drive unit 3 apart from a rotation center O1 of the in-wheel drive unit, one end 5 of a first arm 4 that is extended in the vehicle length direction is relatively rotatably connected, and the other end 6 is connected to an unillustrated car body side member, so that the in-wheel drive unit 3 is suspended to be capable of swinging in the vertical direction of the vehicle. On the diametric outer circumferential part 3out, one side 9 of a vertical member 8 extended roughly in the vertical direction of the vehicle is also installed, and the other side 10 is installed on the unillustrated car body side member, so that the in-wheel drive unit 3 is guided in the vertical direction of the vehicle.
