PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer which is able to suppress the consumption of an ink and the harm at the time of a poor printing occurrence. SOLUTION: According to a multi-functional peripheral apparatus 1, since facsimile data is not lost until there comes a response of a printing result being permitted, a permissible printing result can be certainly obtained. With a conventional facsimile apparatus, since the facsimile data is eliminated after printing, if the printed result is hardly recognized visually, the facsimile data is required to be sent again to the sender to print again. Even if the poor printing occurs because of a purge processing being not performed, as the harm is not so much, a user may perform the purge processing after checking the printed result and recognizing the poor printing.
