PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance deaeration performance of ink supplied to a recording head, and to reduce poor printing due to pressure variation of ink caused by reciprocal operation of a carriage. SOLUTION: An ink jet recorder for recording on a recording material with ink ejected from a recording head in response to a print signal while reciprocating a carriage is constituted by mounting the recording head which is supplied with ink from a main tank through an ink supply tube by a liquid feed means on the carriage, and interposing a deaerator in a supply system from the main tank to the recording head. A flexible member having one end opening to the atmosphere is provided in an ink passage facing ink in the deaerator, and the deaerator is mounted on the carriage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
