PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To furnish a separate preparation path to a composition for coating eyelashes presenting foamy texture. SOLUTION: A method for coating eyelashes is provided, comprising applying, to the eyelashes, at least one layer of at least one composition in the foam form, wherein the composition has a density of equal to or less than 0.95 and an equilibrium modulus of rigidity Gp of less than 50,000 Pa. A kit for making up eyelashes and/or for the nontherapeutic care of the eyelashes is also provided, comprising a container containing the above composition and an applicator comprising at least one application component configured to apply the above composition to eyelashes.
