PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable locking of outgoing functionality etc. of a mobile telephone based neither on personal identification number nor password by easy operation from remote in order to prevent unauthorized use by a finder when the mobile telephone is lost. SOLUTION: The mobile telephone 10 has a mode in which functional limit is set so that arbitrary functionality cannot be acted among a plurality of functionalities and operation is performed and has an operational mode which locks so that the mobile telephone is not operated. The mobile telephone 10 is provided with an incoming call detecting portion 29, a lock processing portion 31 and a storage means which registers and memorizes a particular telephone number beforehand. If the incoming call detecting portion 29 detects incoming call from a telephone number registered into the storage means, the lock processing portion 31 sets functionality of the mobile telephone phone 10 into a lock status.
