PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rigidity and strength of a side member, while restricting increase of the weight. SOLUTION: This side member structure is structured by connecting a vehicle cross direction outside wall part 28C of a side member side projecting part 28 formed by projecting outward in the vehicle cross direction and extended along the longitudinal direction of a front side member 10 and a vertical wall part 30C of a reinforcement side projecting part 30 formed by projecting inside in the vehicle cross direction in a vertical wall part 14C of a reinforcement 14, which is arranged inside a closed cross section part 24 and connected to a lower surface of an upper wall part 22B of the inner panel 22 at an upper wall part 14A thereof and connected to an upper surface of a lower wall part 22C of the inner panel 22 at a lower wall part 14B thereof, and extended along the longitudinal direction of the front side member 10 to a vehicle cross direction inside wall part 22A in the inner panel 22 of the front side member 100 structuring a nearly rectangular closed cross section part 24.
