PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid agent for dialysis, for which the acetic acid odor of the solid agent for the dialysis having a two-layer structure wherein mother particles containing specified electrolyte components are covered with a covering layer containing specified electrolyte components is suppressed, in the solid agent for the dialysis for preparing dialysis fluid, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In the solid agent for the dialysis containing an electrolyte composition including sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride and sodium acetate and the acetic acid, the odorless solid agent for the dialysis has the two-layer structure wherein the mother particles containing the components are covered with the covering layer containing at least sodium acetate and the acetic acid is absorbed by the sodium acetate in the mother particles and the covering layer, and satisfies an expression (1): Y≥0.55X<SP>2</SP>-1.26X+4.30, provided that, in the expression, X= the amount [g] of the sodium acetate in the covering layer / the amount [g] of the sodium acetate in the solid agent for the dialysis, Y= the amount [mol] of the sodium acetate in the solid agent for the dialysis / the amount [mol] of the acetic acid in the solid agent for the dialysis, 0<X<1 and Y>3.60.
