PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a storing space for a personal computer or the like between right and left posts of furniture used for an office or the like, while mounting shelf boards so as to have a good appearance. SOLUTION: Fishtail grooves 17 having a width enlarged from an opening portion to the back part are vertically formed in opposed surfaces of each of the posts 4, the fishtail groove 17 is inserted with a screw seat 22, fixing screws 24 are thread-engaged to screw holes 22a and 22b of the screw seat 22 through insertion holes 21b bored in a bracket 7 to fix the bracket 7 to the post 4, the bracket 7 is positioned parallel to the opposed surface of the post 4 and formed into an inward C shape in front view by a base portion 18 extended forward and backward and upper and lower pieces 19 and 20 continuously provided longitudinally inwardly from the upper and lower ends of the base portion 18, the upper and lower pieces 19 and 20 of the right and left brackets 7 are fixed with the right and left ends of the shelf boards 8 and 9, respectively, and the storing space 11 is formed between the upper and lower shelf boards 8 and 9.
