A connection protection restoration method for multicast service in the automatic switched optical network, carries out protection recovery process respectively after recovering and resolving the point-to-multi- point connection protection for multicast service into the multi- point-to-point connection between the transmission side and the multi- reception sides according to the frame construction of the said automatic switched optical network. When processing multicast service connection protection, the celluar entrance connection controller which is at the network edge creates the point-to-point connection between the transmission side and the multi- reception sides respectively according to the queried routing result, builds the redundancy protection of multicast service, and when processing multicast service connection protection, the connection controller which is at the network edge entrance newbuilds the point-to-point connection between the transmission side and the reception sides which is in fault, realizes the service restoration of the reception sides which is in fault. The connection protection restoration method for multicast service in the automatic switched optical network has the advantage of concise and credibility. |
