In a front-loading washing treatment machine with a housing, a liquor container, a rotatable drum, a liquor container cap (3) with an opening (aligned with openings in the drum and housing front wall to form a washing inlet), a seal (7) and a spray device (8) for wetting the washing and/or rinsing an observation glass, the spray device is located on the cap and extends over at least part of the periphery of the edge of the liquor container opening. A front-loading washing treatment machine has a housing; a liquor container; a drum rotatably mounted in the container; a liquor container cap (3) with an opening (aligned with openings in the drum and housing front wall to form a washing inlet opening); an elastic sleeve or folded bellows seal (7) between the cap and the front wall opening; and a spray device (8) for wetting the washing and/or rinsing an observation glass. The novel feature is that the spray device is located on the cap and extends over at least part of the periphery of the edge of the liquor container opening. An independent claim is included for a liquor container having a cap (3) with a spray device (8) on the edge of its opening, defining an integrated hollow chamber (10) with the wall (25) forming the edge of the opening, in which the spray nozzle (19) is located.
