An optical image recording device comprises a processor, an image capturing device coupled to the processor and an interface device coupled to the processor and adapted to receive a digital recording media. When power is supplied to the optical image recording device and a recording media is inserted into the interface device, the processor continuously stores images captured by the capturing device on the recording media.
