<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide a curtain airbag for a vehicle, in which a curtain airbag body can be expanded and inflated in an appropriate expansion direction with an appropriate expansion force in correspondence with a relationship between mounting conditions of the curtain airbag body on the vehicle and expansion/inflation performance required for the curtain airbag body. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The curtain airbag for a vehicle has a duct section (3) and a chamber section (4). The duct section (3) is formed at the upper portion of the curtain airbag body (1) and has a predetermined effective height H set along the direction of the length of the duct section. Gas is introduced into the duct section (3) from a gas introduction port (2). The chamber section (4) is formed at the lower portion of the curtain airbag body (1), and gas is introduced into the chamber section (4) from the duct section (3). A shift duct portion (3b) where the position in height relative to the curtain airbag body (1) is partially changed for a general duct portion (3a) is formed at the duct section (3).</p> |
