摘要 A freshwater apparatus of seawater using waste heat is provided to reduce the total freshwater production cost through the reduction of the steam amount by heating a portion of brine using waste heat recovered from an electricity generating system and flowing the heated brine into a brine chamber of a stage part. A freshwater apparatus(1) of seawater using waste heat comprises: a stage part(10) constructed in a multistage; and a brine feeding pump(40) for feeding brine into a pipe(30) which passes through a brine heater(20) via the stage part, and is connected into a first stage(11) in the stage part, wherein low pressure steam is supplied into the brine heater through a pipe(21) to supply the heated seawater into the first stage again by heating seawater in the pipe(30). The freshwater apparatus further comprises: a pipe(50) for bypassing the seawater such that the seawater flows into the first stage before seawater fed from the brine feeding pump flows into the stage part; a heat exchanger(60) for performing heat exchange while the pipe(50) passes through the heat exchanger; and a pipe(71) for passing waste heat supplied from an electricity generating system through the heat exchanger.
