The invention relates to the power plants producing thermal energy of superhigh temperatures. In the space formed between two concentrically mounted stators (1) and (2) and two covers (3) and (4) of the reactor by known methods it is formed the plasma. The windings of the stators (1) and (2) are connected to an auxiliary polyphase power network, the frequency of which periodically changes its phase sequence, forming rotary magnetic fields so that the direction of rotation of the magnetic field of the exterior stator (1) may be opposite to the direction of rotation of the magnetic field of the interior stator (2). Into the plasma there are induced the Foucault currents, the magnetic fields of which interacts with the magnetic field of the stators (1) and (2), as a result of which the plasma is shifted from the stators (1) and (2), at the same time the plasma rotates almost synchronously with the magnetic fields of the stators (1) and (2), which leads to friction between its layers. The alternation of the rotation direction leads to the induction in plasma of the Foucault currents of significant intensity and to the additional heating thereof.
