<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound processor capable of performing pitch conversion with high sound quality while saving resources by reducing the load on a CPU. <P>SOLUTION: The sound processor is an apparatus for performing the pitch conversion by changing a read rate of PCM data from a memory and includes an address storage unit 90 which has an integer part 100 and a decimal part 102, a wave frequency storage unit 92 which stores a decimal value determined by the read rate, an adder 94 which adds the decimal value of the wave frequency storage unit 92 to the address storage unit 90 at every specified period, a read section which accesses the memory with the integer part as an address and reads PCM voice data in response to the occurrence of a carrying from the decimal part 102 to the integer part 100, and an interpolation processing section which interpolates the PCM voice data by using the value memorized in the decimal part 102 of the address storage unit 90 and generates the voice data in case of the occurrence of the carrying. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
