<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel printing machine and a method for operation the printing machine. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to the printer having a plurality of printer units in particular to a sheet printer. The respective printers have impression cylinders, transferring cylinders rotating while coming into contact with the impression cylinders, plate cylinders rotating while coming into contact with the transferring cylinders, ink devices, and suitable wetting units, at least the impressing cylinders and the transferring cylinders of the respective printing units can be driven by the main driving unit of the printer, direct driving units and closed loop control units are arranged in the impression cylinders of the respective printing units for driving the plate cylinders in one single motor, and the closed loop control units can supply the practical value of the positions of the respective transferring cylinders set relative to the corrected value in a circumferential direction as the target value relating to the position to the closed loop control units of the respective impression cylinders by driving the impression cylinders during continuous printing operation so as to synchronize with the transferring cylinders of the printing units. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
