<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for measuring an optical fiber network and a measuring method therefor capable of reducing measuring cost. <P>SOLUTION: This system of the present invention for measuring the optical fiber network is the system for measuring the optical fiber network having a plurality of optical network units and one light transmission path terminator, and includes a signal generator for generating a data signal and a control signal, and for transmitting the data signal to the plurality of optical network units, a signal distributor for receiving the control signal, for transmitting the control signal to one of the plurality of optical network units in the first time, and for transmitting the control signal to another one of the plurality of optical network units in the second time, and a measuring instrument connected electrically to the light transmission path terminator, and for measuring the data signal received by the light transmission path terminator, after receiving the control signal by the optical network unit and transmitting the data signal to the light transmission path terminator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
