<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the reinforcing structure of a hung ceiling being capable of reducing the fear of the damage of the hung ceiling and improving the workability of the execution of works even when a force is applied in the vertical direction by an earthquake. <P>SOLUTION: The reinforcing structure of the hung ceiling is hung down from a ceiling skeleton by hanging bolts (hanging materials) 12. In the reinforcing structure of the hung ceiling, a second reinforcing means 19 with a first housing space (a housing space) S27 housing the hanging materials is constituted by combining a first reinforcing member 20 and a second reinforcing member 21.
