<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fabricate a light emitting device in which light take-out efficiency is enhanced by electrophoretic deposition. <P>SOLUTION: The process for fabricating the light emitting device comprising a light emitting element, a phosphor substance emitting light having a wavelength different from that of light emitted from the light emitting element, and a support for arranging the light emitting element comprises a first step for coating the light emitting element arranged on the support with a conductive member, a second step for arranging the light emitting element on a medium containing a charged phosphor substance, a third step for depositing the phosphor substance on the light emitting element by applying a voltage to the conductive member and causing migration of the phosphor substance, and a fourth step for converting the conductive member into a member exhibiting transparency to the light from the light emitting element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
