<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow selection of a balanced menu without needing skills to operate a computer. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention is a card type menu device for making a menu by selecting a multiplicity of cards on which quantities, calories, and the like of an ingredient is described together with an image of the ingredient, and arranging them on a table 1. The cards are classified into categories of a staple food, a main dish, a subsidiary dish, a dessert, a snack, and the like, and have certain outer shapes that are mutually different among the categories.
