PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for brushless motor incorporating rust-preventive measures and highly precise rotation balancing. SOLUTION: This rotor 10 includes a permanent magnet 2, a shaft 1 penetrating through the cylindrical permanent magnet 2, and balance rings 3 which are disposed on both ends of the permanent magnet 2 and through which the shaft 1 penetrates. The outer-periphery surface of the permanent magnet 2 has a rust-preventive layer 5, the surface of the rust-preventive layer 5 is ground for high rotational balancing (Figs. 1(A) to 1(C)).
