PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing maintaining lubricity over a long period. SOLUTION: This rolling bearing has an outer ring, an inner ring, a rolling element arranged between the outer ring and the inner ring, a cage for holding the rolling element and a seal 16a including a grease pocket 22. Here, the grease pocket 22 has grease 17 on its inside, and consistency of the grease 17 is 260 to 300. When the consistency of the grease 17 is 260 to 300, a clearance is not generated between an inner wall surface 37 of the grease pocket 22 and the grease 17, and the grease 17 can be sufficiently filled in the grease pocket 22 of the seal 16a.
