PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which prints high-quality recording image having high definition and high gradation at high speed without decreasing its throughput by shortening a conventional maintenance discharge interval. SOLUTION: After discharging from a nozzle discharging a liquid (ink) is halted for a certain period of time while during printing, the inkjet recorder complements part of landed dots from the liquid (ink) with those from a liquid being the same color material and having a lower color material density.
