摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle power generation charge facility which can efficiently generate power and charge surplus energy, generated when a vehicle travels to effectively utilize the electrical energy thus charged, and to provide an on-vehicle power generation charge method. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle power generation charge facility is equipped with a power generation device, connected to the axle of a vehicle and generating electrical energy, on the basis of the rotational force of the axle and with a power charging device connected to the power generation device and charging the electrical energy. In the on-vehicle power generation charge method adopted, the engine is cut off on a downward slope during travelling of the vehicle, the power generation device is connected to the axle, to generate electrical energy with the power generation device on the basis of the rotational force of the axle, allowing the electrical energy to be charged in the power charging device connected electrically to the power generation device.
