PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane heating element using a heating wire with excellent seating comfort, and also having high durability and reliability. SOLUTION: A heating wire 3 arranged on a support body having flexibility is structured like a strand wire shape processing an insulation coating to a strand of a copper alloy wire 4 containing silver individually using a plurality of pieces of metal reinforced fiber, and also an outside of the heating wire 3 is not to be given coating. With this, there is no uncomfortable feeling at the time of seating since an outer diameter is small, and durability and reliability can be further improved since strand with insulation individually processed by the metal reinforced fiber is used.
