PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power plug capable of preventing a tracking fire by preventing adhesion of dirt and dust to a terminal blade as much as possible even when the power plug is left plugged in an outlet for a long time. SOLUTION: The surface of a root part of each terminal blade 5 is coated with a resin coating layer 10. Hair-like projections 11 are planted throughout a plug surface 4 with the terminal blades 5 projected therefrom, and tips of the hair-like projections 11 abut on the outlet surface with the terminal blades 5 plugged in the outlet surface. In the peripheral part of the plug surface 4, a thin part 13 projecting from the plug surface 4 toward the outlet surface and covering the hair-like projections 11 is formed. The thin part 13 is foldably formed, the thin part 13 is in an extended form while the terminal blades 5 are not plugged into the outlet surface, and the thin part 13 is in a folded form and the tip of the thin part 13 abuts on the outlet surface while the terminal blades 5 are plugged into the outlet surface.
