PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair achieving adjustment function of a projection amount and height position of a lumber support by a simple structure, and to enable a user to easily operate while sitting. SOLUTION: The chair has the lumber support 4 which is pivoted by a spindle 6. A supporting surface S is formed on the outer periphery of the lumber support 4. The spindle 6 is rotated so as to change the projection amount of the surface S projected from the spindle 6. The spindle 6 is formed so as to move vertically, and can be rotated and moved vertically by using operating parts 7 positioned near a right and a left edge parts of a backrest 3.
