PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new useful chair capable of changing and fixing the quantity of projection of a lumbar support by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The lumbar support 4 is rotatable around a spindle 6, and a plurality of support surfaces S (S(1), S(2), S(3) and S(4)) are disposed at a plurality of positions with different distances from the spindle 6 on the outer surface of the lumbar support 4 for respective rotation positions as pressure receiving surfaces to stably support the lumbar support 4 at the prescribed positions.
