PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive, a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet using the same and to provide a method for producing an electronic part and a method for producing an optical part using the same. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive comprise a pressure-sensitive adhesive component and citric acid hydrate. The pressure-sensitive adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet produce effects such as suppression of deterioration of adhesive strength by heat produced during processing operation. Thereby, the pressure-sensitive adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet are suitably used for processing of optical parts such as lenses and prisms, processing, etc., of electronic parts such as electronic part assemblies and green sheets.
