PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure for a steering gear box capable of obtaining the support strength of the steering gear box without largely increasing weight. SOLUTION: In the support structure for the steering gear box provided with stay pipes at both ends of a suspension frame, the suspension frame is suspended on vehicle body frames arranged at both sides of the vehicle body by the stay pipes, a plurality of brackets are erected on the upper surface of the suspension frame with a gap in a vehicle body width direction and the steering gear box is laid and installed on those brackets. A reinforcement member 30 covering the upper part of the steering gear box 10 is fastened to the brackets 21, 22, the end of the reinforcement member 30 is extended to the neighborhood of the vehicle body frame and the extension part 35 is supported to the vehicle body frame side.
