PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensively suppliable tool for preventing invasion which has high functions to prevent the invasion and easily storable before use, to provide a tool for preventing a bird from perching which is the tool for preventing the invasion and to provide a substrate for forming the tool. SOLUTION: The tool for preventing the invasion is obtained by forming cut lines having return points in a plate member, raising up the inside parts of the cut lines along folding lines passing through the vicinity of both ends of the cut lines and further providing protruding pieces with the return points of the cut lines as the apexes. In the tool for preventing the invasion, the return point of a first cut line is provided on the inside of the second cut line from the folding lines of a second cut line adjacent to the front of the first cut line. Thereby, the protruding height of the protruding piece composed of the first cut line is longer than the interval between the first cut line and the second cut line. The protruding pieces having a great protruding height are densely formed. As a result, the tool for preventing the invasion having the high preventing effects on the invasion is obtained.
