The invention relates to a concrete block which is reinforced internally and externally with synthetic fibre and which has between one and five sides with an exposed finish. The inventive block can be used for construction as a masonry block, as formwork or to provide an exposed finish, for decoration as a decorative element, for gardening as gardenware or a block to form fill terraces and for architectural uses. The inventive block is advantageous in that it is made from lightweight concrete which enables same to be easily handled. In addition, the block can be used to receive any other type of material that can adhere to concrete. The internal and external reinforcement increase the physical properties thereof and provide greater resistance and durability.
