<p>A digital beam limiter of an X-ray apparatus comprises a beam limiter (1) with wedge filters; encoders (3), the number of which is consistent with that of the wedge filters, for sensing the locations and orientations of the wedge filters; a single-chip processor (2) for receiving the resulted signals sensed by the encoders and performing calculation process to the signals being acquired, as well as for controlling the driving device to achieve the locational and orientational movements of the wedge filters ; an upper computer (4) for sending instruction signals of the initialization and the locational and orientational movements of the wedge filters to the single-chip processor (2), as well as for receiving signals fed from the single-chip processor (2).</p>
