<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform identical system setting operation efficiently for a plurality of image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming system comprises a network 102, two image forming apparatus 100 and 100 connected with the network 102, and a server 101 connected with the network 102. The server 101 comprises a database (not shown) for storing system initial setting information of the image forming apparatus 100 and 100, and a communication means for transmitting the system initial setting information through the network 102. When initial setting operation is performed from the operation/display section of the image forming apparatus 100, the image forming apparatus 100 requests the server 101 for downloading the system initial setting information, reflects the content of the downloaded system initial setting information on the initial set content and stores it in a nonvolatile memory (not shown). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
