<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide efficient light distribution, in a luminaire using LEDs for light sources. <P>SOLUTION: The luminaire 1 includes the LEDs 2 as light sources, and lenses 3 as optical components for controlling light emitted from the LEDs 2 in a predetermined direction. In the lenses 3, the tilt angle of a surface of the lens 3 corresponding to a desired light-emitting direction is set smaller than the tilt angle of a surface of the lens 3 on the side of posts 5c and/or corresponding to an opening direction located other than the desired light-emitting direction. The refractive index of a material of the lens 3 on the post 5c side and/or corresponding to the opening direction located at a position other than the desired light-emitting direction may be set larger than the refractive index of a material of the lens 3 corresponding to the desired light-emitting direction.
