PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal assembly for a terminal crimping device in which the adjustment of a crimping height does not affect the other size setting. SOLUTION: The terminal assembly 12 includes a driving member 44 and a first ram member 52 jointed to the driving member. The driving member moves the first ram member to a first direction approaching a crimping operation area of a terminal crimping device and a second direction separating from the crimping operation area of the terminal crimping device. The terminal assembly is provided with a second ram member 54 capable of moving toward the first ram member for controlling a crimping height of the terminal crimping device. The second ram member has a base structured to be engaged with at least either an applicator assembly or a crimping tool. An adjusting mechanism 56 is jointed to each of the first and the second ram members. The adjusting mechanism 56 is structured to control a relative position of the first ram member with respect to the second ram member. A motor 62 is jointed for operation to a driving shaft 64, which 64 is engaged with the adjusting mechanisms to drive the mechanism. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
