PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an aluminum pipe, which method can improve the production efficiency and the quality of the aluminum pipe. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the aluminum pipe includes a step of extruding a raw aluminum pipe 10, a step of wiping the outside peripheral surface of the raw aluminum pipe 10, and a step of drawing the raw aluminum pipe 10 after the step of wiping. In the step of wiping, the outside peripheral surface of the raw aluminum pipe 10 is wiped by means of wiping members 70 by turning the raw aluminum pipe 10 about its axis relative to the wiping members 70 in the state that the wiping members 70 are pressed against the outside peripheral surface of the raw aluminum pipe 10 by means of a plurality of pushing bodies 6 arranged in the peripheral direction via elastic members 9.
