The door has a leaf (3) movable for opening and closing a door opening (2) translatively parallel to a base, where the leaf is flexibly movable relative to a bending axis that is perpendicular to a moving direction. The leaf is transferred into a spiral shape lateral to the door opening, when the door is opened. Spiral shaped guides (5, 6) for the leaf are laterally designed at the door opening, and the leaf has flexible segments (4) connected with each other. Each segment has a wheel movable in the guides, where the segments are coupled at a common traction rope (7) for moving the leaf.
