Disclosed is a kicking tee comprising a base for engagement with a playing surface, and a ball support structure, upstanding from the base and including first and second side support portions, one each disposed either side of a passageway formed between the first and second side support portions and the base, and ball support means depending from or formed by the first and second side support portions, wherein the passageway is sufficiently wide (being a direction perpendicular to the direction of the kicking of the ball) for a foot wearing foot of a user to pass through and make contact with a ball supported by the ball support means for its ejection from the kicking tee.
