<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite magnetic material excellent in suppression of iron loss in a high-frequency band and having a required effective magnetic permeability, and a dust core using the same and a magnetic element. <P>SOLUTION: The composite magnetic material is formed by mixing a soft magnetic alloy material and a binding resin of 1-10 wt.% to the soft magnetic alloy material. The soft magnetic alloy material is prepared by mixing 0-90 wt.% (including 0 wt.%) a material having an amorphous structure in addition to a material having a nano-sized crystalline structure into the entire soft magnetic alloy material, and the average grain size of the powder is not more than 50 μm.
