<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which contains a fine colorant excellent in dispersibility and its stability, can form high image quality images having clear color tone and high coloring force, can be cured by the irradiation of active energy rays, and is suitable for ink jet recording, to provide an image forming method using the ink composition, and to provide a recorded article obtained by using an ink composition which can be cured by the irradiation of active energy rays and has clear color tone and high coloring force. <P>SOLUTION: This colored dispersion comprises at least a pigment, a polymerizable compound, and a polymer having a segment having a solubility parameter difference of <1.5 MPa<SP>1/2</SP>at 25°C between the polymerizable compound and the segment.
