<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker capable of heat-cooking the food simply and deliciously by heating a food packing body by induction heating in which fresh foodstuff or half-cooked foodstuff has been packed. <P>SOLUTION: A metal foil 13 is attached to the bottom part of the food packing body 10, and a bar code 15 for recording cooking information including at least a heating temperature and a heating time is attached to the outside face of the food packing body 10. A reading head part 6 of a bar code reader 5 in order to read the bar code 15 is installed at one part on a cooking plate 2 of the device main body to place the food packing body 10. A high frequency current generator 4 to supply a high frequency current to a heating coil 3 arranged and installed directly under the cooking plate 2 is installed.
