PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information collection system or the like for concealing an information sender when a terminal transmits information to an information collection server.

SOLUTION: The information transmission method includes the steps of: generating identification information of the terminal 11A by the terminal 11A for transmitting information in response to a request from the information collection server; generating positional information of its own terminal 11A by the terminal 11A and storing the information to a storage section; transmitting the positional information of its own terminal 11A by the terminal 11A to one or more other terminals 11B in the same network 401 and requesting the terminals 11B having the same positional information as the transmitted positional information to transmit an acknowledgement; and generating terminal information including the positional information and the identification information of its own terminal 11A stored in the storage section when no acknowledgement comes from the terminals 11B having the same positional information as the transmitted positional information and transmitting the terminal information to the information collection server 2.
