<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument holder for an assistant which enables an operator to take out an instrument suspended on the instrument holder for an assistant easily, prevents the breakage of the instruments by preventing mutual contact of the instruments at the tips, and keeps the instruments hygienic. <P>SOLUTION: The instrument holder 8 for an assistant detachably holds a plurality of dental instruments 11-13.
