PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator assembly 96 for a steam turbine. SOLUTION: This stator assembly 96 includes a stacked stator section 98 and a lock device. The stacked stator section 98 has stator plates 80 disposed adjacent to each other. The locking device closely locks the adjacent stator plates 80 proximate to each other.
