PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cash handling device in which bills can be taken out with one hand, the visibility of delivered bills is improved and the opening/closing sound of a cover caused by wind can be eliminated by regulating the projecting direction of the bills dicharged from a bill discharge port and devising the shape, support structure or the like of a bill cover. SOLUTION: The money transaction device is provided with the bill discharge port 4 formed open in an enclosure 3 of the device to discharge bills to the outside of the device, and a bill unit 11 provided with a paper ejection roller 12 for feeding bills from the inside to the bill discharge port, and is constituted so that a bill cover 30, in which at least a part thereof is transparent, is supported freely turnably in a vertical direction by a hinge part 31 provided at the upper part of the bill discharge port of the enclosure of the device so as to open/close the bill discharge port.
