PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system capable of surely protecting user's life and property by appropriately controlling home appliances. SOLUTION: A home server in which a plurality of security apparatuses are installed in a house stores external device management information in which external devices are associated with information concerned with the operation of the external devices corresponding to prescribed warning levels, inputs the reaction information of a sensor apparatus when at least one of the external devices has the sensor apparatus, specifies the warning level from information obtained from a sensor information input part, selects the prescribed external device and information concerned with the operation of the external device by using the specified warning level and the external device management information, and controls the output of the information concerned with the operation to the prescribed external device.
