PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter device capable of stably counting the number of small-diameter steel balls and facilitating replacement of the counter device. SOLUTION: The counter device 1 comprises a counting pipe 4 for aligning and storing the designated number of steel balls 7 to be counted, a main body 2 which forms a fitting hole 5 at the bottom for fitting the counting pipe, and a sucking hole 6 having an opening 6a at the bottom surface of the fitting hole 5. A diameter of the opening 6a of the sucking hole 6 is formed in a diameter smaller than the diameter of the steel ball 7, and the center of the opening 6a of the sucking hole 6 is arranged by shifting from the center of a bore of the counting pipe 4. The lined-up steel balls 7 are sucked and retained in the counting pipe 4 by supplying negative pressure in the sucking hole 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
