PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval support system, an information retrieval support method, and an information retrieval support program for achieving a retrieval with high precision while utilizing various kinds of information. SOLUTION: When a management computer 21 transmits screen data to a client terminal 10, data on a related material retrieval button is added. When the button is selected, the computer 21 executes retrieval processing of the ISBN to create a retrieval result list. Further, the computer 21 executes word division processing, unnecessary word deletion processing, weighting processing, and keyword specifying processing. The retrieval result list in which related materials are extracted from an intramural material information storage unit 23 and an extramural academic information storage unit 24 by using keywords.
