PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method for producing hologram elements, where upon the peeling of a cover sheet and the peeling of a base sheet after its pasting onto an optical element, turning-up, wrinkles and displacement of an insular sensitive material can be prevented. SOLUTION: The hologram element is produced by a process, including a step where a first half-cut part is provided at a side on the downstream side in the first peeling direction, at which a cover sheet in the insular part of a stacked sheet is peeled, a second half-cut part is provided continuously at the side along the first peeling direction, in the intersection angle part between the side on the downstream side, in the first peeling direction and the side along the first peeling direction to the first half-cut part, and the side on the upstream side in the first peeling direction in the insular part is provided with a first non-cut part; a step where the cover sheet is peeled from the hologram sensitive material along the first peeling direction; and a step where the base sheet is peeled from the hologram sensitive material along the second peeling directed in reverse to the first peeling direction.
